A $45,000 mistake! ????

We were looking for a new 4×4 vehicle and had narrowed our search down to a Toyota Hilux.

Ready to purchase within the next two months. In short, we were a salesperson’s dream! ????????

I went to my local dealership and wanted a test drive…the sales guy said to come back when you’re ready to buy and we can test drive and talk best price.

Two weeks later driving past another dealer we decided to pop in and see if we could get a test drive. An hour later, we signed contracts.

How many opportunities are missed by misjudging the customer and their intentions to purchase?

The assumed tyre-kicker of today could turn into a $45,000 customer tomorrow! ????????????
